Down StageLeft (A part of StageLeft Theatre)
The Downstage Left Program was created in 1995 to develop new theatrical works and to create novel, quality performance experiences that further  Stage Left's mission:  to produce plays that raise the level of debate on political and social issues.  By introducing new artists and ideas into our company we hope also to challenge the audience's (and our own) notions of how theatre can be created.  Our goal with this project is to provide an environment where inspirations can be investigated without the pressure of a full production.
